Matt is the owner of Odyssey Health Club and has lived and breathed sport, health & fitness his whole life. Matt has a degree in Human Movement and has dedicated his career to educating, training and motivating people to live better lives through health, fitness and lifestyle initiatives.


He has been at the forefront of the fitness industry for over 25 years - always pushing the boundaries of human performance and sports science. He has conducted in excess of 30,000 personal & group training sessions and has also trained professional athletes and sports teams.   Matt is passionate about improving peoples’ lives and is committed to building a health club that really makes a difference.

Matt ‘practices what he preaches’.  He loves to live an active lifestyle and competes in marathons & triathlons around the globe.  He believes that ‘there is simply no better feeling than that of being fit, healthy and energetic. It allows you to live life to its utmost potential’.

Valeria Marrara

Training Philosophy

Valeria started to practice ballet and other dance styles, since she was a child and has worked as a dancer and choreographer throughout Europe, USA and Africa. During her dance years Valeria decided to focus on a career in the fitness industry. Valeria then completed her studies in “Exercise and Sport Science” with a Bachelor Degree, Certificate III Group and Fitness Instructor and Certificate IV Personal Trainer. Valeria has also trained in postural stability.

Valeria has worked with a diverse group of people especially with postural problems. Valeria combines her studies and experience to improve individual’s flexibility, balance, by tailoring programs to strengthen the stabilizing muscles.

Valeria’s training approach combined with her positive attitude results in positive outcomes for clients. Valeria, will certainly motivate you in achieving your personal and fitness goals.

Training Philosophy

Mitch’s passion for fitness started in childhood and has driven him to be a motivated and committed personal trainer.  He is focused on helping his clients reach their goals and then taking them to the next level.  His training is diverse and he has experience in training representative sports players, power-lifters, marathon runners, special needs children and people with disabilities.  He is also great with ordinary peeps, like you and me, who want to get fit, lean and strong.


His training provides variety to keep clients challenged and motivated.  He attributes his success to a committed approach to his clients and a thorough understanding of functional strength and power training.

Training Philosophy

I have an infectious passion for health and wellbeing and have just finished studying my Certificate IV in Fitness, with the vision of running women’s workshops and classes, as I believe in the power of movement to help other women realise their immense inner strength. 

I live a vegan lifestyle and love instilling the benefits of whole real food eating for all my clients. I look forward to be able to help my clients achieve their health, fitness & lifestyle goals.
